Motor Class of Business Claims

On time of accident, please notify Awash Insurance through all available modes of communication (in writing, email, telephone, Digital Channel etc…)
The customer must present proof of loss in time for all notified claims.
The insured is expected to accurately capture the details of any other third party vehicle involved in the accident including obtaining a copy of the third party’s insurance certificate.
For any unavailable parts, the insurer is only liable to pay maximum up to the recent dealer’s catalogued price of specific parts
Salvaged items shall be returned to the insurer’s recovery yard.
A Proforma Invoice for parts and labour shall be collected on time and presented at customer’s end from two garages and/or suppliers of the part.
The customer has the right to get his/her vehicle repaired at his/her preferred garage upon satisfying the necessary condition established for such privileges.
Repairs conducted at all garages except for those repairs conducted at dealer garage shall be checked before the vehicle is released from garage.
Confirmation of satisfactory service/repair is required from the insured party before releasing the vehicle.
Every damaged vehicle shall be availed for assessment by the company’s surveyor before undertaking repair.
Client’s shall get the consent of the insurer before taking further action on the vehicle involved in accident.

Every accident shall be reported within 24 hours of the occurrence date.
